My Mother…..

She’s like shade in the scorching heat

She’s like breeze to the autumn trees

She’s like rains on a barren land

She’s like an oasis in a sea of sand

She’s like a ray of light in a dark cave

She’s like a flower on an a deserted grave!

She knows me in and out

She guides me when in doubt

She walks with me through thick and thin 

Holding her hand every battle I win!

 Without you mom

Who would have for me cared?

Little joys of life

With whom would I have shared?

All my sorrows I forget in a zap

When I lay my head on your lap!

Your touch makes me

still feel like a toddler,

I wish you never ever leave me

and stay by my side forever and ever!
