There’s a magical mystery
besieging the night and the moon
Ever wondered....
Who sways to whose tune?
What keeps the night from vanishing soon?
What makes the moon lune?
Is it the gloom of the night
that attracts the moonlight?
Or is it the echo of the silence
That attracts the moon every night?
Is it the charm of the white
That urges darkness to alight
from celestial heights?
Or is meeting the moon a way of the night
to ignite the darkness infinite?
Does the crescent ascend
for love of stillness?
so that its messages of love
dissolve in the night's blankness?
Why on moonless nights
does darkness seem more ferocious?
Is it the feeling of loneliness that bites
into it's bareness??
The waning of the moon
might distance them for a night
but its only for them to reunite
for another coming fortnight!
The union of the moon and the night
which the stars have witnessed from time infinite
Symbolizes grace and fullness
